Yes, waffle day has once again come to Sweden. Also known as Våffeldagen, the holiday coincides with the Feast of the Annunciation. This day is also considered the start of spring in Sweden and Europe (although we have loads of snow left). It is a custom for Swedish families to celebrate the two events by making waffles on this day.
I'll have to redo this again on August 24th, as that's the national date (remind me of this please).
Though I hate waffles myself, I thought I'd make a thread and froggy picture anyway.
