Ulduar is WIN

So, its been confirmed
Ive been raiding Ulduar today, from 17.30-... around 1 am?

In any other raid dungeon Id be puking my guts out now, but all I am is tired and happy. It was awasome

We downed some new bosses but it was hard and the wipes were many (although it wasnt so hard that you wiped on 1 boss for a week or 3, which could be the case in TBC...). Since the encounters are new we had to create strategies of ourselves after figuring out what all these guys actually do and why the hell they're killing us.

It was perfect

Not too hard, not too easy. I really, really like Ulduar, and I hope that you guys will get to enjoy it soon too <3

Explanation follows
To get into ulduar i need naxx gear no problem right?
well to get naxx 25 man gear i need 10 man gear.. still no problem?
so to get into naxx 10 man i need. . . . naxx 10 man gear
So how the hell am i ever going to raid?


ps: anyone know where to get an epic dagger/sword?

I suppose you need heroics gear to get into a Naxx 10 group? Unless you can find some nice experienced group to tag along with (good luck with that).. I nearly went there last week but got kicked because the leader decided to take some friend he knew irl instead. Oh well.
Kind of a bummer that by the time we get to Ulduar (in about a year or two?) the whole place will be well known by everyone. Meaning no fun try-as-you-go moments like Ash got. It will just be another "do as we say and hurry up with it or you're out" instance.

You can get into Naxx with greens and blues, as long as your dps is good enough. Aim for a dps of +2000, maybe +2500 if you want to enter a good Naxx guild

EDIT; You must also be able to follw tactics and stuff, of course

Tactics for a dps is easy:stand here shoot him until <insert event> happens then shoot <insert target> then when thats dead shoot him again

but at the same time you must watch out for this and that and sometimes change target and dps this instead or stop dpsing all together or run away since you're kiting etc etc

Are you up for it Ash? Since Corb doesn't want to tank anymore and all that.

Im not sure my gear is good enough to tank heroics, Im afraid. Which is a problem, cause I dont see how I can upgrade my gear outside of heroics. T.T

err do NON-heroiv dungeons?
or get a leatherworker (i think thats druids) to make you some things =d all you'd need is a couple of blues and 1-2 epics really
